I am looking for an experienced Nursing Home Manager for a new home due to open in October 2024 in Great Yarmouth.  The home will be a serene retreat akin to a five-star boutique hotel with 42 beautifully appointed bedrooms and expansive living spaces.

You will be supported externally by dedicated Operations and Central teams, and within the home you will have the support of a Deputy Manager and Administrator, as well as Hospitality and Housekeeping teams. These teams will collaborate with you to ensure smooth operations and exceptional care for residents.

In the role of Registered Manager you will:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the home
  • Be responsible for ensuring that the home provides high-quality care and support to residents
  • Meet financial targets and maintain full occupancy
  • Have the autonomy to guide the home towards an Outstanding CQC rating while leading a dedicated team
  • Be familiar with all the relevant legislation and regulations regarding Nursing Homes

For this brand new home you will need:

  • Previous experience managing a nursing home
  • A strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external professionals, families, and visitors
  • A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home
  • An enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care
  • The ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the service
  • An NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience is desirable but not essential
