Residential Support Worker (Children and Young People)

£30,795 - £32,795 (inclusive of sleep-in allowance) an additional £1,000 p.a for Complex Care Homes

These roles will require flexibility as you will be working on a rota basis (which includes sleep-ins)

I am currently recruiting for a number of staff to work in children’s homes throughout the Northamptonshire area.

You will be working with vulnerable children and young people with a variety of needs, some complex, and assisting with care and domestic duties, accompanying young people to school and supporting them during the day as part of the team.

You will also be required to create a positive environment for each young person with particular reference to his/her safety, health and education, as well as maintain good professional practices in accordance with Ofsted regulations and quality care standards.

For these roles you must have:

• The ability to engage effectively with children and young people
• A commitment and desire to bring about a positive change in the lives of young people
• Accurate recording and documenting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Flexibility as you will be working on a rota basis (which includes sleep-ins)
• A full UK Driving license and use of own transport   
• The ability to work in the UK
• You must be over 22 years old to apply for these role due to Ofsted requirements
