I am looking for an enthusiastic hospitality professional to manage the hospitality in a fabulous nursing home near Altringham.  The service is home to fifty-six residents and is rated as 'GOOD' by CQC.  It is a purpose home and offers a contemporary and comfortable setting for nursing, residential, and dementia care. Residents enjoy superb amenities, including spacious bedroom suites, cosy living areas, and a beautifully landscaped garden.

In the role of Hospitality Manager you will:

• Create a caring service experience aligned with family values: compassion, empathy, and transparency
• Foster a positive work environment emphasizing teamwork, improvement, and top-notch service.
• Deliver exceptional experiences for residents, surpassing their needs and expectations.
• Oversee food service operations, collaborating closely with the chef for quality meals on time
• Develop engaging activities promoting residents' interests, fun, and well-being
• Maintain a top-notch first impression experience and uphold high cleanliness standards.
• Address maintenance issues promptly to keep the facility in good condition
• Manage the hospitality budget to meet revenue targets while controlling costs
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to enhance community engagement
• Ensure staff are well-trained and equipped for effective performance
• Uphold compliance with regulations, health and safety, and employment laws, maintaining thorough records

For this role you will need:

• Previous experience of hospitality, preferably in a hotel
• Excellent communication, motivational and people skills
• A genuine interest in engaging our residents and their families on a regular basis
• Organisational skills with good time keeping
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and policies, like employment and health and safety legislation
• The ability to be flexible with working hours which are generally Monday to Friday 9-5 but some weekend/evening work may be required on occasion
