Deputy Manager

I am looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to help run a great children’s home in Birmingham.  The home provides care and support for children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. 

Duties for this role will include:

• Assisting the Registered Manager with the day to day running of the home
• Ensuring that the highest standards of care are in place
• Meeting and promoting the needs of the children/young people
• Supervising and developing the staff team
• Managing the home in the absence of the Manager

For this role you must have:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (England) (or equivalent)
• Experience of supervising and managing staff in a residential child care role
• Experience of working with children/young people with learning disabilities and complex needs
• A working knowledge of Children’s Regulations, Quality Standards and ECM
• A full UK driving licence and car for work use
