Residential Support Worker

£23,795 – £24,835 + an additional £50 per sleep-in
I am looking for Residential Support Worker to work at a beautiful children’s homes in Milton Keynes. The services provide a caring environment to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The homes are run by a small provider who care about their residents and their staff.
In this post you will:
- Be responsible for providing day to day care for children and young people
- Work as part of a dedicated, caring team
- Ensure the home is kept to a good standard
- Carry out general household tasks including cooking and cleaning
- Safeguarding the welfare of residents at all times
- Supporting in activities, education or statutory meetings
I am looking for people who have:
- Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviours
- Proficient in records and reports writing
- The ability to work shifts, sleep-ins and work to a rota
- A full UK manual driving licence
- The ability to use your own initiative and exercise sound judgement
- Good communicator with excellent inter-personal skills.
