Senior Support Worker – Learning Disabilities
Days £13 per hour
Bungay, Norfolk
Would you like to work in a fantastic facility that provides support to individuals with diverse needs, including learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and complex needs who would benefit from living in a more peaceful setting
In the Senior Support Worker role you will:
- Work as part of the care team
- Ensure high standards are being maintained
- Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
- Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals and coach Support Workers
- Contribute to care planning
- Maintain the personal care needs of residents, respecting the dignity of the individual and promoting independence
For this role you must have:
- NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or be working towards this)
- Previous experience in a senior care role
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- An empathetic and caring nature
- Full UK Driving Licence is preferred, but not essential
