I am looking for a Residential Support Worker to support children and young people in a fantastic residential home for children and young people in Duston, Northampton.
In this post you will:
- Be responsible for providing day to day care for children and young people
- Work as part of a dedicated, caring team
- Ensure the home is kept to a good standard
- Carry out general household tasks including cooking and cleaning
- Safeguarding the welfare of residents at all times
- Supporting in activities, education or statutory meetings
I am looking for people who have:
- Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviours
- A good standard of written and spoken English, sufficient to write records and reports
- The ability to work shifts, sleep-ins and work to a rota
- A full UK manual driving licence
- The ability to use your own initiative and exercise sound judgement
- Good communicator with excellent inter-personal skills.
