£23,473 - £25,000 + £45 per sleep-in

 

I am looking for an experienced Team Leader to work in a 4 bedded children’s home in Peterborough. The home provides care and support for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The role is with a small, but expanding company, who provide fantastic support to their staff, and offer a fun, positive and stimulating environment working with people who genuinely enjoy the rewards and challenges of working with children.

Duties for this role will include:

• Providing a nurturing environment for young people in which their physical and emotional needs are met
• Ensuring that, at all times, the home remains child focused and that our children / young people are at the centre of everything you do
• Being a positive role model
• Providing leadership to junior staff

For this post you must have:

• At least 1 year’s relevant professional experience working with young people in a residential setting
• A Level 3/Diploma in Health & Social Care with Children and Young People (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this
• A full clean manual driving licence held for at least 1 year
• A flexible approach to working hours/shifts and a mature level of commitment to enable the efficient running of the home
• The ability to undertake sleep in duties and provide an on-call emergency service
• A full clean manual driving license held for at least 1 year
